Damages after Relocation to Singapore - Insurance Claim

Post by micha » Tue, 29 Nov 2005 11:41 am

I recently moved to Singapore and with me my complete furniture. Now there are a couple of minor to medium damages which i would like to claim. The insurance company asked me now for estimates of replacement or repair through "Singapore shops". Anybody with an idea, whom to ask or how to proceed? Thank you
Michael

Well, I know it sounds like a vicious cycle, and it is -- but ask the Movers themselves. Then call their competitor and ask who they use in these cases. Good luck.

My Mover actually gave me a"moving in kit" which as well as having shops etc in it it also included a list of repairmen, handy men, furniture upholsters etc. did you get anything like that?

If not, then like MHB said, contact the Movers they should be able to point you in the right direction
