HDB executive condos

Post by mylife » Tue, 29 Nov 2005 8:51 am

Hi,

In view of the new EC by the government, do you think it's worth the buy? What is the main difference between an EC by the government and the normal condos anyway? In terms of prices? What about facilities wise?

Sorry, nothing to add, but this is interesting. What are executive condos? Are they the same thing as executive mansionettes?

first of all. you have to have a PR to be eligible for executive HDS purchases.

Second, if you pay a bit more you easily get a private condo with comparable location and facilities.

Third, because of point 2, it is harder to sell an executive HDB than a private condo.

So, unless you have CPF that you need to make use of, I would stick with a private condo.

just my 2 cents.

Thanks. Do you have any website references where i can get more details such as pricing, policies or procedures? I do agree with you in point 2 but i just want to be open to more options. :)
