canon ixus 55 or ixus 1^5

im currently looking for a digi cam that costs ard $700-$800. 5.0 megapixels. may i know which is better? ixus 55 or 1^5 or any other digi cam to recommend? :)

fc-11 battery

I need the NP-FC11 battery, but the original one is too expensive , can i buy a replacement np fc11 battery? tks for any suggestions.
