Ads with no picture

Dear Administrator,
I have submitted 6 ads with pictures on classifieds. Only 1 ad was successfully posted with its picture showing properly. The remaining 5 ads had "pending approval" with no pictures (on the left of ads) showing. Did I do something wrong? I realize that the picture file sizes are about 600 to 700k. Are these pictures too big for the server? the 1 ad that was succesfully posted had a size of 231k. Please help. Thank you for your prompt reply.

The Admin reviews all ads before putting them up, therefore your ad may not come up immediately after you post.
