Shipping watch to US?

Hi

I have a watch for a friend in the US and wanted to ship to him.
However, I understand from Singpost that watch are prohibited items to be shipped to the US.

Anyone knows about this?

According to UPS website https://sss-web.usps.com/gxg/jsps/showS ... itions.jsp watches may be sent as long as value is less than $100 usd.

Best phone them or the Post Office to be sure.
