Sexpo

apparently 1st of its kind in Singapore, though probably not as fun if one goes alone, maybe a special invocation of the WNDC or SADC chapters?

hey, what up with this? I made the topic named "anyone interested", and someone changed it to "Sexpo"

while that may be more accurate, can't we name our threads as we want?

My friends at Uni (guys and girls, happy to say) and I once went to Sexpo in Melbourne, Australia. That was hilarious! I think the best part of the experience was when one of the Canadian girls in our group did a running commentary on some of the porn titles they had on display (her housemates, she aid, used to watch them all the time).

I guess this isn't likely to happen in Singapore. :D And lets face it, you can't crack a lot of jokes about sex toys--unless they have inflatables!

I'll give this one a miss. :)

well, I've never been to one, don't quite know what to expect, but more than any curiousity I might have about this event, though it's here meaning as movies are edited to protect Singapore from the rest of the world, there's not likely to be anything earth-shattering

I however am kinda interested to see the reactions of people to it and what kind of turnout it gets

I mean, this is pretty unique to Singapore, isn't it?

Read that about 10,000 showed up at the first day ot the exhibition, mostly those in their fifties.

Might give you an idea of how it is perceived in uniquely prudish Singapore?

I dropped by since I was in the area on Saturday......

It was crowded, but more than a little chaotic. Everyone seemed to be shyly browsing (if alone) or boldy browsing (if partner or spouse was in tow).

Didn't really leave much of an impression on me - I left after about a half hour, but that was because I couldn't be bothered to fight the crowd.
And the sultans - yeah the sultans
they play creole...Creole, baby
