Cockney rhyming slang: chopped liver - furniture . . . . Well, going out on a limb here, WIMH, but that might be stretching it -possibly just out of reach of the bells here.

But, you couldn't resist, could you? Smartass!
(Couldn't resist what, Sapphire?)

Please tell me I'm not the only Soprano's groupie. That James Gandolfini, bit ugly, bit fat, very cruel, very wicked, but..........

Well, what can I say?

Surely I'm not the only woman who thinks this?

Here's another devotee Bubbs.

Waht James Gandolfini puts in to this role of his as Tony Soprano is beyond real, it is more than acting, more than just performing a role. Sure, having seen Raging Bull with Robert de Niro, or Scarface with Al Pacino, these original actors gave you the goosebumps, but this Tony Soprano role haunts you.

I Remember a few weeks back, at the end of another ferocious episode Tony was sitting at the backyard, in front of his pool, smoking his cigar. First shot was him sitting there, but close up. The anger in his expression, yet so calm, you get the creeps. Then zooming out, Tony is holding a machine gun, and he is enjoying his cigar in the meantime. At the back you hear his wife calling him, informing he is ok. Without a twitch, he replies: I am ok.

And you know he is ok, he is just waiting to act again.

Later that night, I was in bed and couldn't catch sleep, so was reading a bit. Every now and then though, my thoughts went to this scene and I relived it. And I shivered again....

Can't explain, but I find this guy and this series so intruiging.
