you can bring ur own photo, but the background must be PLAIN (no object seen on the background). i suggest u take a full length pic by some traditional photo shopin neighbourhood with studio, cos its much cheaper, and tis pic worth alot in the interview becos in the first round they judge mainly on ur pic, some of the gals did not speak at all got in, cos they took a presentable pic.

i got in the first round of the interview, second round 11th of dec, i got kick out on the second part of the group interview.
i feel the same way too, cos they seems to be getting gals who doesn't seems to participant at all. Altou the rep frm emirates keep reminding us to participant more, and wan to see our "passion", yet wen we r standing up to speak, the interview sometimes went over to the otherside and chat wif the other group, she wasn't even around, makes us feel v uncomfortable... i haf no idea what r they looking for, some of the gals had impressive ideas and speech, yet din got in. In my grup of 20 pple only 5 got in.. some of them din even speak much.. i was quite disappoint by the way they judge tho..

Hi there,

I had the same quesiton for cream cheese earlier on. and i reckon.. no harm asking it once more =)

Does Emirate operate the same way like SIA, ie: They notify you and u appear at the interview or do you turn up at their recruitment venue when they come to singapore?

Thanx a million for getting my quesiton answered!

regards,
MK

Not soon tho...I looked upon their website but don't see Singapore in either January or February lists. They've been recruiting here every month since July through December but just keep yourself updated and look at http://www.emiratesgroupcareers.com every now and then.

"Preliminary selections will be done in conjunction with our appointed agency Sass Atlantic "

Does this mean that they will not be having a walk in interview anymore?

Hi Ladies, i heard that there was an interview by Emirates back on 30th Dec 05. My friend actually got through & would be posted to Dubai this March. She got her confirmation only this week!! She did mention the interview was tough & they were discussing 'GP' type of topics. I was very disappointed when I found out that I had missed the selection round in Dec. Has anyone else got more to share about the interview & the discussion topics? :)

Look at each of their websites and make your own judgement.
