"Fight or flight" is a term usually used to describe one of two possible reactions to life-threatening situations. To apply it to internet message boards seems a bit out of context. There is no real risk to either course of action.
I know what you mean, but how about "type or don't"? Or, "respond or ignore"? It's only the internet and I think people online often adopt personalities very different from their real-life ones. So the answers probably don't reflect much about the real people.
I don't know any of you people, or at least I think I don't. Argue, agree, flame, ignore, politely debate, talk dirty about freaky schoolgirl fantasies with those cute knee-high white socks, whatever. Some good mental exercise sometimes, or just a good diversion from work.
