Alright then, will you two at least ignore each other? This is a pleasant community we have here, don't ruin it for all of us. Can?

"Fight or flight" is a term usually used to describe one of two possible reactions to life-threatening situations. To apply it to internet message boards seems a bit out of context. There is no real risk to either course of action.

I know what you mean, but how about "type or don't"? Or, "respond or ignore"? It's only the internet and I think people online often adopt personalities very different from their real-life ones. So the answers probably don't reflect much about the real people.

I don't know any of you people, or at least I think I don't. Argue, agree, flame, ignore, politely debate, talk dirty about freaky schoolgirl fantasies with those cute knee-high white socks, whatever. Some good mental exercise sometimes, or just a good diversion from work.

Umm...T2K, we know its ONLY the internet. However, lots of us have met each more than once, hence, this debate takes on an interesting colour.

'Type or don't', 'Respond or ignore' definitely don't sound as much fun as Fight or flight.

Morning Sapphire

Quite right too, what would it be like if we all thought twice about saying daft things..........boring, that's what.
