Citizenship?

My wife and I are both US citizens. My wife is pregnant and will be having our child in Singapore. What will be the status of that child? Automatic US citizenship (or Sing. citizenship). Will we have to get our child naturalized citizenship in the US??

US citizenship - register the birth at the US Embassy and apply for passport there, then you can get a DP for your baby for Singapore residence. Your new baby is not entitled to Singapore citizenship. There will be a note on the birth cert issued by the hospital to that effect.
