Hi.. hmm just want to ask about girl's period.. hmm what is the maximum age that girls will have their period? What if they still didn't got their period after the maximum age? Izzit normal for a girl? thanks alot in advance..

It depends on lots of things...ask your mum and female relatives what age they were when they got theirs.
I'm not sure of the "maximum" age as every one is different. It will depend on how old you are when you start going through pubity.
I do know that if you are under or over weight that will delay the onset

I thought you learnt all these in school? In the 'olden' days the average age when a girl gets her 1st period is later, maybe 14-15, even 17. But this was due to poorer nutrition. This can also happen to very active teen athletes with low body fat content.

Nowadays, with good nutrition, also exposure to environmental and food estrogens, the starting age is earlier.

If you're older than 17 and concerned that you have not gotten your period, see a gynaecologist. It could be normal, due to reasons stated above or possibly other underlying physiological/physical problems.

Most girls nowadays start their period around the age of 11-13, mainly due to the reasons Mayaray stated.

Women have menopause much later too, usually from around the age of 50-60 onwards.
