Quoting in Threads

Post by Em Eye » Tue, 08 Nov 2005 7:42 pm

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that people keep copying whole messages to quote in their own postings?

It seems silly that you read the post, scroll down and there are multiple quotes from the same posting in the message. No need to quote several postings...we can read.

Truth be told I do agree with you Em Eye and once it gets past 3 or 4 boxes within boxes I forget what I was supposed to be reading, then again I am distracted by avatars with motion, so there you are...

Quoting the important stuff is ok...that's why we have the function, but 3 or 4 whole messages drives me CRAZY!

Nice! Such invaluable contribution, banana.
