Does anyone know where I can get some good value artwork, posters, picture frames etc for my huge expanse of wall space. My place feels very sparse!

Cheers in advance.

I like the paintings at Red Sea Gallery. Good value..hmm depends if you're seeking something cheap or an art that you appreciate down the road.

Good luck with the search.
Namaste..

something that is nice and looks expensive yet reasonable price?

-one art shop at Turf city mall (if i can still remember..oil painting)and another at Great world city(printed copies of artwork framed in glass).Last i recall was between $200-$400 i think..

or if you are at great world city you can drop by Barang Barang shop.. or Holland V mall.

if you would like his contact, send me a pm.

Commissioning artists to customise paintings

Post by marcuslim » Mon, 06 Feb 2006 10:55 pm

Hi, you can actually commission artists to do specific works for you. It's hassle-free, it's original, and it'll be worth your while when the artist becomes famous. Think about it rather than getting posters or cheap, "mass produced" works.

I've given up on trying to get art in Singapore. Blue Twinkle is spot on about the framer - he is great although if you dont speak chinese be prepared to point, smile and nod your head alot!
