1. catch a late midnight show at Orchard Cathay Cineleisure, from 2:00am to 4:00am

2. camping at the at the paris-ris or Sentosa, provided with a group friends, so, you can done mahjong, gambling , chatting etc....

3. Watching VCD/DVD with your iBook at the public place.
Yes, 2days ago, i just saw a couple doing this "amazing" things infront of Toa Payoh Community Library, 3 o'clock in the morning
iBook having a better battery life span,
it should be able to last for 2 show.

4. Snookering or pool (I think only few places in geylang is open 24 hours)

5. Surf net since broadband fees here is considerable cheap

Milk and other things from home

Post by ringo100 » Sat, 05 Nov 2005 4:41 pm

Can anyone recomend a brand of normal fresh milk, preferably skimmed or semi-skimmed that doesn't taste like some strange milkshake? I really miss milk from home.

Also, Branston pickle, I can find it anywhere, even any form of sweet pickle would do. I need and cheese and pickle sandwich and sausages just don't taste the same with out it.

I can get every thing esle here, even Coleman's English mustard. But I do miss these two things

Ringo, try Pauls skimmed milk. I didn't like the taste of the other skimmed milk I've tasted .. this is the only one that manages to stay down. Not bad really ..

As for sweet pickles, I'm not really sure but Heinz Sweet Relish seems close enough ..

Yes, this are the  place at lorong 13, lorong 15 and lorong 17

the one is lorong 13 is called Manhattan FC (where i have been there few time before, 4 snooker tables)

However, girl are not really welcome unless accompanied with guys.

these are the places where the "grass root" people hang around, so, don't act too COOL, or you get yourself troubles...
