Hi! I want to go to Kunming in Yunan, China in Sep.. Anyone can advise me on the cheapest air line i can find ? I don't mind spendinf more time on transit stops..

I've been planning a trip there as well. Last I checked Thai had some pretty good deals, but the transit times via Bangkok were a little inconvenient. But SilkAir also appears to have a fairly attractive deal for direct flights right now, starting at S$338 per head if there are two of you:

Perhaps you can try a SG-HK and then a HK or Shenzhen-Kunming
You may find cheap flights this way ...
