I didn't ask, but would love to see a 'real honest to gosh hedgehog". Please post. I'm sure there will some sort of comments made about it or the fact that you were in your dressing gown, barefoot when you took the picture.

Agreed! Yummy, they remind me of short spined sea urchins. :)

I'm amazed at how small they are! These guys/gals must not be very old, for 3 of them to fit inside the palm of someone's hand. Yes, they are cute too!

Hi Guys
Will post it later cos have new camera plus new printer and am learning how to transfer images via it and I know this sounds mad, but not all of us are wonderful at that stuff....hahaha....

Anyway....update on the hedgehog saga, ..... after I'd posted the one about going out to snap it I looked out of the window about an hour later and there he was, Hedgie, still there. Now, that's really strange as they're shy creatures. He appeared to be running back and fore on the spot. I thought he had a mate or a young one nearby who was hurt....so out I go again, and guess what? Poor little bugger was tangled up in that thin plastic netting you grow climbing plants on....my netting for a passion fruit plant I'm growing. He was so tangled it was all over his spines and around his head, poor little thing. So I had to go out with a scissors and cut him free. He rolled up into a ball straight away, making it ten times more difficult to free him, but I did what I could although he went running off with quite a bit of netting still on his spines. I did think of calling the RSPCA but hopefully it won't hurt him too much having a bit of net on his back. Maybe the girl hedgehogs will think it's a new fashion, or something, and he'll be the most popular hog in Wales....hahaha.
