IKEA & Children's art/craft equipment

Post by nenesyd » Mon, 31 Oct 2005 12:09 am

Just wondering it -
A) IKEA is easy to get to

and

B) Is it good for children's art/craft materials, toys etc.

Or should I try and stock up on art/craft supplies and toys before I get there?

Or is there another plae in Sing. that is great to buy these things?

thanks

The answer to all of your questions is: yes!

Ikea is easy enough to find, but forget about the weekends when the queue into the parking lot is 20 cars long.

They have a nice kids department with roll paper, paint brushes, toys, etc... You can also try the basement of the Forum, and Toys R Us (also in the Forum) and Art Friend/Popluar at Bras Basah Complex.

If you can bring some with you, I suggest you do -- just in case stocks have run out here and just to take one more thing 'off your plate' when you arrive.

Hope this helps.

a great store has opened here recently. it's called ELC (early learning centre) - they have one in paragon and i think have just opened another at suntec city. both in orchard road.
great value for paints, non-spill pots etc.
you can search their website and see what they have!
