Trick or Treating?

First Halloween and notice that the shops are selling quite a bit of stuff. I'm wondering do the children here go trick or treating, especially since we live in condos? I'm concerned I should be prepared with the candy treats so I won't have disappointed children. Suggestions, please?

OK, I was wondering this too...does the lack of answers here mean that nothing happens? Can we only expect this sort of thing if we live in a condo and therefore things may be organised?
What if we just live in a street of houses does this mean we won't have any trick or treaters?
