Share AWARENESS: BIRD FLU and DENGUE FEVER are ARISING..

Do all of you still remember about the Sars cases happened in the whole world and including Singapore? Are we going to see the history repeating again with BIRD FLU cases or Dengue Fever? How many of people had been died of Bird Flu in other country and Dengue Fever in Sg?

Are you aware? I'm keen to find out how do Singaporean prepared themselves and their family to defense against all these diseases.

Recently, in our neighbour country, Bird Flu viruses are becoming more powerful, which means it can also spread through human nowadays. Its media also mentioned that if a country can't control this diseases well, it will lead to a country destruction. Can you imagine that? And it is so near to us, the birds there may fly to Singapore sooner or later one day. How do we prepare ourselves?

In Singapore, a number of people infected Dengue Fever, some died and some managed to recover. For those who are not infected, how do you protect or prevent yourself from that? Spray insect repellent or? For those who got well after the infection, how do u take care of ur health or improve? Do u think is enough? How do u take care of ur health? Or u just wait and see what will happen?

I'm curious to find out how Singaporean actually take care of their health and how do you feel about the diseases happen around us?
Do you think that health is important? If yes, what have you done to make sure you are healthy? If no, what is the most important to you?

Firstly, what makes you think that my sources is wrong.

Secondly, what things that i mention contained mistakes and what makes you think that I do not know what I'm talking about?

Thirdly, although we should concerned, what makes you think that we should not prepare(prevention) ourselves?

Forthly, i believe no one will 100% believe the journalists including me, but we will also believe in some of the facts. If we don't believe at all, then why we need journalists or read newspaper or watch news,at most of the times, journalists must also provides facts?

I am just upset because I have to deal with that kind of problems almost everyday in my job, and there are so many stupid people who spread totally wrong information...

Spreading of incorrect information is tantamount to creating public hysteria and not helpful at all. This problem will be tackled with clear heads and in a constructive manner, not like chickens with their heads chopped off.

It was actually quite amazing how the population here approached SARS - were you running around creating havoc then as well?

I just wanna have some simple discussion about how do people feel about such diseases arises and how do people take care of their health. Just need some useful informations from public on how to do prevention so that others may be able to take it as a guideline. Its an open discussion, people may choose to believe or not, up to them.

Why keep on discussing about "Spreading of incorrect information"???
