If I'm not mistaken, it's at the aquarium at sentosa. I hope not as I don't have a pic readily at hand. If it is I'll pass back to CD or wait till the morrow.

Yes. I've always been partial to the underwater world. For the life of me can't understand why?

CD, actually been hooked for a while, it's just that because I've not done the photo taking thingy around Singers for so many years most of my photos are (in the words of some - days of yore  ) old and unfortunately, the negatives have not withstood the ravages of time as well as I have *smug look* .

Let me see what I can find as I'm still home today with a gouty foot.

maybe if you'd put them into a humidity-controlled protective environment like the one you seem to store your head in, they would have kept as well? :P

Okay, another blast from the past. What and again from what vantage point.
Notice the relatively barren skyline.

I won't even try to guess, I just love these pics SMS! Keep them coming. Singers almost feels real (if you know what I mean by that) when I see these pics.

i ran out of pics a long time ago. anyone else is welcome to post one! in fact i would love it if SMS posted some more blast-from-the-past pics. agree with sapphire the place seems more real, not like the modern day commercialised version.

As CD already said after 1981 guess I'll have to give it to you. It was NDP @ Padang in 1982 Singapore's 16th national day. It was the first year I was in Singapore. guess I went to about 3 of them there. Not many highrise buildings back then. I've seen a lot of changes in the 23 years I've been here.

Your turn!
Sorry to go back so many pages...but if this yr is 40th, then 1982 was 17th, wasn't it?
