Chicken lasagne is fab....do the chicken in a wine sauce, mushrooms and cream....then it's fluid enough not to have to put much cheese sauce between layers....grate cheese on top.
Also fab is roasted veg lasagne. Roast tons of veg....toms, onions, zuccini, celery, mushrooms, even carrots...whatever you like (not potatoes) in dish with olive oil, sea salt black pepper and some garlic chopped, lots, and balsamic vinegar.....roast till really browned.
Boil the pasta, or have no boil pasta.........layer the veg between and make a really strong cheese sauce, lots, pour over top, brown in oven.............
I like the cheese sauce made with cheddar AND some Danish Blue, or a blue cheese....so tasty. Lovely with foccacia...is that the spelling?
