For most expats I guess it's a little boring.

And it's definitely not as great a country as most of you make it out to be; only the 'right' persons can enjoy singapore's 'greatness' and by 'right' I don't mean the kind of person whose tastes/preferences, likes/dislikes or income will make singapore enjoyable.

Let's just say if I describe the word 'right' in vivid details I'll either be banned (most likely since censorship is common in singapore) or my posts will be deleted, or something similar.

:-|

don't jump on the bandwagon to chant "oh wow! what a beautiful country!" or "their women are incredibly hot!" (besides, I personally don't find their women attractive AT ALL, but that's just my opinion).

I think many of you just need to be more perceptive.

wow...

you have sharp eye there. Just registered here and already knowing us so well to say we need to be a bit more perceptive?

Why don't you try a bit less judging for a change?

You are spot on - we have no opinion of our own as opinions should never be duplicated.

Oh, hang on - by that reasoning anyone agreeing with you is just jumping on the bandwagon . . .

try to be more polite. I haven't JUST registered, I started a topic (I guess) a few weeks ago and it was deleted. I don't know why it was that way but I suppose given the way things are usually run in RACIST singapore, my nationality didn't help.

Now don't tell me there isn't obviously overt and widespread racism and discrimination based on nationalities, langauges and skin colour. Or will you try convincing me that it's not?

are you trying to make fun of me? well believe me in RACIST singapore it's not unusual for certain "races" to be made fun of....as sick as it may sound, I truly wish that tiny red dot were blown up by the terrorists (not just a part of it, the whole of it) because of the obviously inhumane way in which certain "races" or nationalities are always treated.

hey calm down. people here are not faulting you for your race, but because of the things you say. you will find that racial slurs and prejudices are generally not very welcome here, but genuine issues and observations will be civilly discussed.

Just wondering, Bangladeshi Wonder, where do you think things might be better for you?

It's certainly not perfect here, but I am realistic enough (I think) to know that home (NZ) is certainly no better - for me anyway. This is one little island I will be happy to call home for a wee while yet. :)
