Hi parabec,

The closest thing to that would be VideoEzy.

DVD Rental by mail

Post by mb74 » Sun, 23 Oct 2005 6:20 pm

Hi,

You may want to try renting unlimited DVDs on a monthly subscription system - they mail it to you, you mail it back when you're done. No late fees, no rush to watch it etc. It's pretty great. They have loads of movies and TV Series as well.

Try these 2 in Singapore :
1) Hollywood Clicks - www.hollywoodclicks.com
2) Homepal - www.homepal.com.sg

Hope this helps.

Try Video Ezy, they have 24 locations or if you prefer the ezy way, rent online from their website at http://www.videoezy.com.sg. They are far better in selection than other rental places in Singapore.

Hi,

I am a subscriber with hollywoodclicks. So far I've no problems with time, Timely delivery, even with a change of address, they didn't miss out any of my dvds. Selection is alright. Sufficient for me! Monthly subscrption I think around 30 dollars, I can't remember. Try it out. But when you do their free trial, they charge you for the first month, I don't get their logic for doing this since it's a free trial. Nevertheless, it's worth it. :P

bright_wave, hollywood click does not charge for the first month if the free trial is cancelled within 14 days. I've had taken their free trial and after 10 days I cancelled it. Hence they did not charge my credit card.
Cheers !!!

Hi,

Yeh, they are region-3 disks. Sometimes they do send out some region 1 disks but I've only gotten 1 movie of this region so far.

8-)

Just got an email from Video Ezy Online that they now offer unlimited online DVD rentals for $29.90. This is a savings of $5 from my previous subscription cost of $34.90 per month. Hooray.
