Red Acne Scar.
Red Acne Scar.
Hi, i would like to hear from some good people from here. I'm facing ance scar problem (those after pimple red scars), should i go back to my facial centre or should i go to clinic and seek for doctor help?... and what should i not do / do for my skin...? please help me thanks alot. and acne will become moles?... cuz suddenly moles appear on my face, are they removable?
Hi M12345,
a few yrs bk i was also facing problem like yours, after 2-3 yrs of outbreak i was left was red acne scars, i would suggest you to go visit a Dermalogist than Beauty Salon to get rid of the scars. I went to Beauty Salon to try to cure my acne and scars i ended up worse, cause they would squeeze n squeeze my face first first to get rid of the pus, said will need to cure the acne then deal with the scars later, i ended up with a almost 1cm red intent scar on my right cheek(this was the worst scar) and of course other parts of the face!!
Young n naive got no one to tell me exactly which professional should i approach to cure my face then(then 17/18yrs old now 26yrs old) i tried all sorts of products i can find on the market, obviously got worse lor to cure my scar...
Finally last straw came i went to do skin peeling to get rid of the scar after reading magazines...guess what, the doc is pretty old and i think not an expert on skin at some cheapo GP clinic, the AHA chemicals is divided into a few strength got 35%, 50% n 70% and after a few times of using the the various strength of the AHA chemical, my scar did improve cause the upper layer of skin is like burn n peel off after a few days to review new skin...but logically spking if my skin got improvement oredi she should reduce the strength of the AHA chemical rite but she just kept on using the 70% strength AHA chemical!!! till i got so scared because my scars did lighten tremendously why is she still using such high strength on my face n i start to feel my face getting sensitive i stop visiting the doctor immediately.
And again try to find beauty salon to just maintain it and i almost fainted when i tried out a few beauty salon all say my skin is very very thin due to the excessive peeling!! they could see my those small small thin thin red veins!! (then my face was also very very sensitive) i could get pigmentation very easily if i don't tk extra good care and expose to too much sun...cause skin is too thin!! And for your info it won't become thick again just like that!!
Finally thru my cousin recommendation to this beauty salon at Lucky Plaza open by an ex TCS actor(he really almost those very very long time ago actor, sometimes still appear on TV but really very rare those type...he's also the one who recommend a cosmetic surgeon to do my double eyelid, ok my left eye hs got double eyelid, right side don't have so eye is seriously one big one small, but now its balance
) who recommend me Dermalogica Products and i'm still sticking to these products till today. My skin has since improve and stabilised already till now, i also seldom go do facial also now.
Sorry for being so long winded, but by sharing my story is to advise you don't be like me anyhow go and do facial, skin peeling at any ulu ulu place and almost risk causing permanent damage to your skin, since you hv found this forum, can collect more info from other posters experience before you decided an who is the correct person to looked for to cure your scar. Few yrs bk, logging into internet to chk out more info was not so in, if its as accessible as now, i would have opt to visit a professional personel like a experience/reputable Dermalogist to cure my face, now i think back its actually quite scary...anyhow visit beauty salon/clinic luckily skin never badly damaged till no turning back.
So please please ask around more, check out more forums, for the right person to go to and the proper cure.
Good Luck
