Converting Malaysian Driving licence to Singapore

Hi,

I intend to convert my Malaysian Driving Licence to Singapore.

I have registered for the Basic Theory test.
Heard that I need an official translation from Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ)/ Road Transport Department.

I wonder if I can get the document from the JPJ office in Johor Bahru instead of going to Kuala Lumpur? I got the address:
Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Negeri Johor Darul Takzim
Kompleks JPJ
80990 Johor Bahru

Anyone with the experience here?
After conversion, are there any restrictions for me to drive in Malaysia using the Singapore Driving Licence? Thanks

I don't know the answers to your questions. However I am quite surprised, you need to convert?
I know that Singapore license is valid in Malaysia, the opposite is not true?
