Need Help on Weight Problem

Post by BabyJo » Mon, 17 Oct 2005 1:55 pm

Hi all, appreciate someone there could really help me out. I have a problem which I encounter the past 2 years. Previously, i used to be a S size girl and gain quite a lot of weight after giving birth. Fortunately, I manage to drop to 57.8kg. In order to reach my original weight, I was stuck with diet pill prescribe by doctor. Eventually I drop the weight till what I desire for. Due to the side effect of the pill (insommia etc) I decided to stop using the pill, however, i gain back all the weight I lost and worse.....i gain even more than what i weight before. Im now 64Kg.........I have tried to lose weight by controlling my diet, but I can't curb my hunger especially during my PMS....i feel hungrier than before and I can't stop myself from snacking those junk food......

I decided to lose weight bcos my family history have high blood pressure n diabetis.....however, i really can't control the hunger. Beside this, I also have budget on going to those training centre for workout, so really need to find those flexible payment type with good quality workout classes, yoga and pilates. Really need good advices from all the kind soul as I planned to slim down for my hubby so we can go for photo shoot during our anniversary.

The problem with quick fixes like pills and slimming treatments is exactly as you say, when you go off them you go back to your original weight or worse.

The only true way to maintain a healthy body composition is to lead a healthy lifetsyle, of good food and appropriate exercise. If you are serious and prepared to make a committment come join our twice a week fitness bootcamp in the botanical gardens. Is very affordable when compared with a personal trainer 1 on 1.

A lot of people do not realise that sugar is the main culprit of obesity. Do not take sweet drinks. Just 8 to 10 glasses of plain water throughout the day. If you must , take your morning coffee/tea, then water thru out the day. Also take more protein and less carbo. U have to be firm and stop snacking except carrot sticks. You will surely lose weight in no time . Better than any slimming centre which costs money

yes i agree losing weight is a combination of both diet and exercise. Losing weight is one thing but to look toned and keep a balanced lifestyle exercise is the only way to go. These days the focus is just not about the mass as in KG but the body fat level too.
