regarding Hillington Green

Post by Jennie » Mon, 24 Oct 2005 12:38 pm

I live at Summerhill which is right beside Hillington Green.
I've also looked at Hillington Green and found it to be very nice. It's new, each unit has its own elevator, nice layout...

From what I've heard, the condo is mostly local and that is the reason for low rate of units out for rental(at least, it was when I was looking).

Another downside could be that the compound is fairly large(600?? I forgot) so the pool(as large as it is) seems always to be crowded.

But the neighborhood I really like. It's away from the city but still close enough(10-15 min. to Newton Circus). It's close to PIE and AYE. Hume Ave. has several nice condos(Summerhill, Hume Park, Parc Palais..) with many expat families. There is a shuttle bus to Bukit Batok MRT for the condos on Hume Ave. We're close to Canadian Int'l School and SAS.
My house has the view of Bukit Timah Nature Reserve(a view of a mountain - which is very hard to see in Singapore ^^).

Hope my answer helped^^
