Hey does anyone know of any cheap calling cards (apart from that singtel worldcard thing which I think is a rip-off

) to call Australia from Singapore?
And if anyone knows of any international calling cards in Japan to call Australia too, that would be helpful... thanks a lot!

Hi, i have tried some cards ... got some good bargain..
For a $10/- card value (which i bought for abt $7++), i can call an Sydney local line for 4hrs!! Other countries i am not sure.. but i am sure it will be quite good package too.. And the best thing is the connection is quite good.. not noisy or cut ur line halfway..
Cheers,
Take care

I use ChitChat Communications at
www.mychitchat.com. Their
calling card rates are very reasonable. Check it out for yourself and hope it helps.

try signing up for all overseas calls, been using it two years, although I phone Europe mostly, its very reasonable, and a good line. I think you can also get cards too.

Hi wo384, if u r calling local line, u can try using this card called IDD card (with zodiac star signs). A $10 value can call abt 2-3hrs, reception is also quite clear. U normally can get the card from those newspaper agents or booths. If u want to get cheaper, u can try to get them at Lucky Plaza, probably around $7+++.
Cheers,

Haven't tried any of this, but if you go to
www.gumtree.com and search for Singapore, you'll be returned a lot of adds detailing some quite interesting claims. ALl look pretty valid given there level of detail.
Let me know how you get on...

If you are looking to get a phone card, you can check out the tiny phone card stalls opposite John Little Shopping Centre. (on the Centrepoint side of the road)
They have a good range of cards plus folders with the individual rates.
I found one that lets me call the US for 600minutes for a $10 card. The connection is great and I can call from my cell or a landline
