Job Offer

I don't get relocation allowance (including tickets to Singapore) and there was no mention about 13th month pay in the contract. Is this normal?

To my understanding, a work contract is an agreement between an employer and an employee therefore it can contain anything that both parties agree. There might be standard practices but not rules about what it should contain. Am I right?

I agree with you CD

Expat packages do not require to include tickets and/or 13th month.

Singapore does not have strict labour laws that mention about what a contract should contain at its minimum. Anyway, 13th month and leave passage are discretionary, just like most other terms, whether in an "expat" contract or otherwise.

The rule of the thumb is negotiate, if you are not happy with the terms, walk away.
