Canceling issued air-ticket

Post by Kimi » Mon, 10 Oct 2005 11:56 pm

Can you do that and still getting reimbursed partly?
I know I can and will ask the travel agency and the airline company... but would be good to know tonight...

Generally not, better to role it over into another flight.

Kimi,

Don't let airline know you want to cancel especially if they aren't going to give you any refund as they will just sell it as a standby ticket. Extra profit for them!

It depends a lot on the conditions of your initial purchase. Some tickets can be refunded with a minimum fee, some cannot. If you bought at a cheaper price that should be less in your favour.
