I'm looking for someone to transport my wife and kids to and from the Australian school 3 days per week until the end of this term (early Dec).
My son is attending the school and my wife and daughter will be accompanying him to and from.
If you're interested or know someone who is then leave your contact details here, either hp or email and I will get back to you.

If you don't mind paying a bit, you can arrange for a cab to come by those days at the time you want.

I didn't mean I wanted free transport (although that would be nice) - certainly willing to pay. I just wanted to make it easier for my wife so she doesn't have to organise a cab everyday and being a regular thing for a couple of months we wanted to save some money compared to getting a cab there and back twice a day.

No no, I didn't mean it that way
I just thought to suggest that as an option you could take...didn't mean anything by it.

I once got picked up by a cab driver who said: "if you don't mind, I have to make one stop to pick up my student fare and drop him at maris stella kindergarten" Can you believe it? This guy had a regular fare who was 5 years old! He was in kindergarten! I said 'sure' we picked him up and brought him to kindergarten. My ride to Holland Village was free
Point is: you can arrange a taxi in advance for regular pick ups, and not deal with it everyday.

Hey jag78 - no offence taken and that's what we'll probably do.
MHB - thanks for the info, i've read of these sorts of arrangements (on this site) but thought that it only applied to limo (pretend or real
).

Hi c_m,
next time you have a really good, safe cab driver, ask him for his card and check if you can arrange a regular pick-up time for the school run. That's what I've done with my child in the past and means no more hanging on the line on a wet morning hoping desperately that you can find a cab then worrying if he knows how to change gear/stop instead of speeding up when lights change etc etc. Alternatively, post your
condo or general pick-up area - you may be lucky enough to find someone is driving another kid there from your area and is happy to have a bit of company. Hope it works out.
