Help with a pastry name?

When I was in Singapore recently, the hotel we stayed at, had this type of pastry - but it looked more like a muffin crossed with a scone with a sweet/bready texture. It was only served at breakfast too. I can't for the life of me remember the name, except that it started with a 'P'. Peroiles...peorl...I don't know it may have been something liked that, anyway. I'm trying to find the recipe, with not much luck since I don't know the name, hehe. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Ah, no no. Profiteroles, though delicious, tends to be stuffed with custard/cream etc. and is an actual dessert. This was more like, a bread roll, just a side dish. It was placed with the muffins, bread and bagels area
