Tax etc if staying only 150 days per year

Post by ismangun » Sun, 09 Oct 2005 12:51 pm

Hi, I'm a newbie and dared to post a topic here.

Recently, I got a job in an Airline in Spore. My monthly basic salary will be SGD5,600. My job cycles don't require me to stay in Spore (I can commute to my home country), but should I opt to relocate, I will stay for less than 150 days per year.

How will my tax, cpf, and other financial liability applies to my case?
What will my nett income figures?
Will my children eligible to attend public schools? How the system works, and will it tax-deductible?

That's the questions I've tried to answer myself digging from resources over the net. But seems like informations on tax and such kept confusing me.

Thank you for responding,

Cheers,
