Classical Music Score and Lyrics

Post by Kimi » Sat, 08 Oct 2005 5:01 pm

Any idea where I can buy or download the music score and lyrics of a classical music/song?
Apparently Andrea Bocelli's song, like Nel Cuore Lei (duet with Eros Ramazzotti) is not categorised as a classical song, even though I did suspect it a little, so must be a piece composed by Schubert and the like?
But then again, my result in google, Josh Groban's You're Still You can be categorised classical? :o
Any recommended song and site are appreciated anyways. Cheers.

Kimi,

Nel Cuore Lei was composed by Cogliati/Zambrini, lyrics byBocelli himself

Here's a link to the lyrics, can't find the score online at the moment.

Don't you just love to listen to Italian?! Ahhh!
But unfortunately this song is not categorised as a classical song.
Thanks anyway Saint. I do fancy Eros Ramazzotti's songs too actually so knowing the meaning and the lyric of this song is such a fancy.

The thing is I need to study one, and preferably a familiar classical song to sing it for a rehearsal...
Only all of the classical music scores I have are only instrumental and only for piano like Schubert and the like, no lyrics :(

It's seems to be classed as classical on the net so strange you can't find it, even itunes classes it as classical.

I'm not the biggest fan of Italian singers but the wife is, especially Bocelli and Ramazzotti!

If you are looking for familiar classical song you could check for Andrew Lloyd Webber, probably not the best but quite a varied choice

Must be something with women's ears. Then again there is another factor, Ramazzotti is also fit! ;)

Found the below even though I wonder if it's more of opera song, composed by Verdi:
Rigoletto: La donna e mobile (Rigoletto)

And the thing is, it's in Italian!
Anybody here can speak Italian? At least know how to pronounce words in Italian..
