Seems to be working fine now Pal. Will post if it slows down again.
It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

Was slow about 5 minutes back and then said... Board not available, try a little later...

Actually, its lagging quite a bit!
It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

Yup. Noticed it.

Will do some optimizing to cure this.

I'd noticed it's also been quite bad recent, crashing at least twice a day but since Wednesday it's been fine

Generally much better now. As saint said, several crashes (actually you were probably offline for maintenance). Now it's a real pleasure to cruise the forum. Before I liked the forum due to the regulars and camaraderie but used to not stay as it got boring waiting for pages to load. Now can add normal speed to the plus side.

Way to go PAL!

Yup, did some optimizations since Wed.

Therefore, need to know the performance from Wed onwards ...

yep noticed site was down due to maintenance for a while, but now it seems fine again. pretty fast. thanks Pal!

noticed everybody's signature is gone. was that part of the optimisation to make the site faster?
