Is there any place where a dog can run freely off leash?

It seems that Singapore is not the most dog friendly. I have yet to find a dog run, and living in the CBD, there is no real option to do this quietly in a secluded area. Does anyone have a suggestion where my dog can run off leash?

Thanks![/i]

There are two dog-runs. One in Bishan Park run by the Singapore kennel club (dogs have to get a temprament test before entering, conducted every Sunday morning before 11). The Bishan one is crowded and small, but good if you want your dog to play with other dogs. Opening hours all days 6-8 pm, weekends also 9-11 am.

The second one is in West Coast Park, open all hours, no temprament test etc. This one is very large and less crowded.

There is a small dog run at the Pet Hotel, which is open to the public and very popular over the weekends. It's located at Pasir Ris Farmway 2. But you're right, Singapore isn't very dog-friendly on the whole.
