Hello. We are looking to bring leather furniture to Singapore. Does anyone have any experience with leather furniture in a humid climate? We have been told that it can get 'sticky' and therefore uncomfortable to sit on, depending on the quality of leather. The furniture we have is good quality Italian leather which has been surface treated. We figure that the use of air-con will probably have a positive effect and taking the furniture to a drier climate later might be more of a problem, but any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Goodness! Why should leather be any different ?? -- the whole country is uncomfortable to sit on. We had a leather couch here for years -- it was fine. Many stores sell leather furniture as well. Go ahead and bring it, no worries.
When you go in for a job interview, I think a good thing to ask is if they ever press charges.

Not really, Ginge, not a problem at all. Not unless you want to park that furniture outdoors, in the deepest parts of the Night Safari.
Most folks I know have leather couches (good ones at that). Your furniture will be fine.
