CHILD IMMUNISATIONS

Post by ginge » Fri, 23 Sep 2005 4:03 am

Hello. We are shortly moving to Singapore from the UK. Our son will be one uear old when we move and we were wondering if someone could tell us what the child immunisation program is in Singapore up to age five? Is it consistent with the UK and/or Australian program/s? Thanks.

Hi there
don't hink I'm allowed to post a link. There is a government website in Singapore called Health Promotion Board. It provides an immunisation chart which is very handy.
Babies are given Hep B and the TB injection at birth (BCG).

Hope this helps

Yes, it is very simialr to Australia and New Zealand - I think a few things vary by a degree of months, but the "stuff" is all the same (that's a technical term, you know...)

The only difference for us was the BcG which is not routine at home.
