some food for thought....

Postby Infineon » Thu, 22 Sep 2005 9:13 pm

The meaning of life is the search for the meaning life. Congratulations! You are on your path to enlightenment. Even if you do not find what you seek in this lifetime, by questioning the meaning of life, you would start to generate positive thoughts and action.

The way that can be spoken is not the way. It can only be experienced. Start self-reflection and count your blessings. Simplify your life. Stop buying pleasure but start buying happiness instead. That means spend on loved ones instead of yourself . Remember, true poverty is the state of wanting.

If you do not covet material things you will never be impoverished. Happiness is in knowing contentment. Love what you have; and you will always have what you love. Dejunk your house. Accept that nothing is permanent. Metal rusts, beauty fades, people change. All things must end.

You are born alone and will die alone. Forgive and forget. Heaven and hell occurs only in your body. The will controls the mind, the mind controls the body. The bravest warrior is one who controls his will. Be without shame nor pride. Tolerate and storms will pass, take a step back and horizons is widen. Yield to life. Forget yourself.

Life is always full of ups and downs.
What you encountered others had gone thru also.
Forget about those people who have cheated you.
Don't bother about others who gossips too.

Life still goes on for everyone of us even when you are feeling sadness and sorrow.
You control your own happiness and attitude!

Screw those who cheats and gossips, I am very sure that what goes around comes around. I have seen those things happens before.
Look at the bright side, take those as an experience and carry on with your life.

If ever you have a chance to meet any disabled people, you will know that you are actually far more fortunate than any one of them, but they are stronger than many normal people.
So, change your attitude and your mindset. Be positive!

You are such because life is such and full of sufffering. Some have it easy but almost certainly many have it as bad as you have. And most- I would say- have it worse than you.

Wake up and smell the roses, don't think too much and take each day as it comes. Things change, frequently for the better. But even if it gets worse, so what? Life is not a test, life is just life. And that in itself is the beauty and preciousness of life.
