shifting to new flat

Post by kazilad » Thu, 22 Sep 2005 2:31 pm

Hi,
Can anyone tell me where can I hire a van to carry my household items/luggages? I am moving to another flat. I dont have any furniture, only suitcases, bags & few small items..

Thanks in advance.

If you do not have many stuffs to carry then you can try to divide your stuffs into few trips.. And go for taxis..

Otherwise can try the classified for removal. But some quote reasonably expensive! At least, those i called before.

I have my own "transportation van" .. Haha not my own lar.. Basically if i move my home, i will just give him a call. His rate is quite reasonable.. Now i cannot really recall how much exactly since i have been staying in current place for 2 yrs ++. But he only will provide the van and the driver, no manpower. So if you need help in carrying the stuffs, you may have to ask ur buddies to help u.. The last time, 7 of my girlfriends help to carry my stuffs... Haha believe me .. i have lots of stuffs .. :P  But the whole process is quite smooth, we took a couple of hrs only. :D

If you really need help, can PM me.. :)

Cheers,
take care
