Dounut, thanks for all the info!!! I'll look into that.
Is 9 am start too early? .. trust me, I am NO WAY a morning person, too, but tried 9am MCR and it well worked! :D

MangoMango... if we can get organised..... we could perhaps rent a car... (or figure out buses/trains), get to Malaysia... and combine hiking'n'camping.. I've no idea how doable / safe / hassle-free this is! ...guess we'd better leave on Friday and back on Sunday?

As for Singapore WALK IN FOREST, I think I prefer 8th Oct... hey, we do not have to be too active!! 8)

sapphire, OK, OK, be it Bukit Timah...! for you, just for you! :D

Is it possible to have a hiking + camping trip in Malaysia?
Sapphire, I can only see lazy lizards in forest. :P :P :P

There are more places to do Hiking + Camping in Malaysia than Singapore, but some nice ones are a bit far from here . .

If Dounut can make it for 1 Oct Trek, will also be able to go for 2 Oct Cycling at Ubin, but definately no more energy to go the next day . .

Dounut is not an active trekker, but a once in a blue moon kind . . :P

If is at Bk Timah, 9am is way way too early for Dounut . .

Need to get up at 7am . . ? ? :o :o

9am at MacRitchie is already very early, but might be able to drag myself up, though no promise . .

If going to Malaysia, in the past we usually depart on Friday evening, and return on Sunday evening . .
