:D Good one Vaucluse :D
When you go in for a job interview, I think a good thing to ask is if they ever press charges.

Only if I develop a Kiwi accent! :)

(you're lucky that Maori aren't tainted with the sheep-shagging brush . . . probably because you're all bigger than us  )

runwayjim,
I understand you have a tantamount reason to try to search the world for safe haven.

However, we are trying to keep our country crime-free. Singapore citizens and government will not be welcoming to you. Please give up the idea of using Singapore as your safe harbor.

As an overseas Chinese Singaporean, I feel very hurt when somebody try to come into my country to "thrash" it. Our forefathers risk their lives in crossing the ocean and made tremendous sacrifices to convert Singapore from a Kampong village into a successful economy. They do it selflessly so the next generation will have a life better than theirs. I am not trying to be preachy but please be considerate to the feelings of the people living here.

Extra points should be awarded for using 'expat' in the subject box as a verb and not the boring old, predictable way as a noun. 8)

I'm thinking Jim, male model, on the runway...

Does that guy look suspiciously like Amelia Earhart?
