Beaded earrings & dressmaking classes

Hi! I'm interested in making my own beaded earrings...(those pretty dangling type) but am unsure where is the cheapest place to buy the supplies.. anyone know of any cheap places that supplies the materials for making them???

Also, i'd like to take up some basic dressmaking classes but am totally clueless as to wear to go! Help anyone???

ok, basically it depends on the quantity that you intend to buy.

Golden Dragon store (its essentially a haberdashery store) at People's Park in Chinatown has pretty cheap supplies. Beads, that fish-hook like thing for the ears, little metal connecting rings, etc things like that can be bought pretty cheap there. The thing is most of them are packed in bigger qualities like dozens.

If you want to get them just enough for a pair or two, think u can try saga city at bras basah complex (just opposite the colloqual looking raffles hotel) / or Spotlight at Plaza Singapura near dhoby ghaut mrt station. Prices are not exactly cheap but the quantity they sell is like 1 pc each, so u can decide the exact amount u need.

Well, as for the dressmaking classes, grins.. I happened to be a freelance part time dressmaking teacher, and doing pretty crafts happened to be my hobby, thats why i came to know so much bout the shops. LOL!
