Sort of word association.

A guy is standing in line waiting to buy airline tickets. The woman at the ticket counter is very voluptuous and she is wearing a low cut blouse that reveals absolutely gorgeous breasts.

Flustered, the man says, "Give me two pickets to Titsburg", then immediately corrects himself, "uh, I mean, give me two tickets to Pittsburg."

Later, he is telling his friend about the incident and how environmental clues can affect the things you say.

His friend says, "I know exactly what you mean! Just yesterday, I was sitting across the table from my wife and I meant to say, 'Honey, pass me the sugar', and instead I blurted out,'B*tch, you've ruined my f*cking life!'"

Your favourite comedy moment....

Post by Bubbles » Sat, 17 Sep 2005 11:59 pm

What's your all time favourite comedy moment from tv or film?

Three spring to mind with me....

1......Dell Boy (Only Fools And Horses) trying to act cool when he saw a girl he fancied in a club....saying to Rodney 'Play it cool, play it cool.' Then leaning back onto the bar on his elbow, only to have the barman go out to collect glasses or something, and the bar is up.........and Dell disappears onto the floor....sorry, years old, but still hilarious....

2. Mary, in There's Something About Mary........and the 'hairgel'....enough said.

3. Don't know the name of the film, not too old, but two guys are driving down a highway and suddenly there's a moose in the back of the car.....the looks on their faces....who knows which film I mean?

What about everyone else? Bet there's hundreds of daft moments I've forgotten out there somewhere.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
