I am going to be bankrupt

Hi all,

I owed financial institutions around S$55,000 debt and have been paying at least the minimum.

My contract with army expired 6 months ago and only managed to find a senior tech job of S$1,700 as compared to my previous pay of S$3,300.

Have been paying less than minimum and now banks starting to issue legal letters and initiate legal sue.

ANY HELP?

Went to CCS but they say can't help.

Pls advise cos really feel like run to thailand and forget all about this.

no personal experience there, but i've read of gov or ngo agencies helping to negotiate with creditors to make installments? know any?

Lord. Exodus 14 VS 14 says that "the lord will fight my case and I shall

peace". I don't need any telephone communication in this regard because
of my health hence the presence of my husband's relatives around me
always.
I don't want them to know about This development and I know that With God
all things are possible.As soon as I receive your reply I shall give you
the contact of the lawyer that will assist us in this project. I will also
issue a letter of authorisation to the bank that will prove you the
present beneficiary of this money also want you,church or the organisation
to always pray for me because the lord is my only shephard.My happiness is
that I lived a life of a worthy Christian.
Whoever that Wants to serve the Lord must serve him in spirit and Truth.

I must seriously warn anyone not to touch the email enclosed in the last link.

This is just one of a series of scams originating in West Africa, and Nigeria. It's world known and they somehow get people to part with money or worse, their bank details and all hell breaks loose when they do whatever it is they do.

I'm not saying this particular one is going to do this, but there have been many instances of this sort of thing in the press, so keep clear, even though most peeps wouldn't touch it with a bargepole, some may be moved to do so.

Bubbles is quite right in in her advice, I get a lot of that type of letter at my private e-mail addresses. More often than not and for whatever reason they are from Africa and are nothing more than a scam!! I suggest the moderators delete such postings pronto!

http://www.dnsstuff.com where you can look up the ISP details pertaining to [email protected] and inform them of her activities. Interesting to note last time the server was reloaded there were 11892 banned IP addresses.

What a self-rightous attitude!

How do you know this isn't a loan to pay for his/her education? I for one have debt up to my back teeth as my parents were too poor to pay for university, and unfortunately I did not fancy living the life of my parents and grandparents (and now my cousins and siblings).

Not all of us are in debt because of living the high life, you know - quite the opposite. Sanctimonious git.

His previous pay was >$3k ++. For a Singie bachelor, he had consumed and lived above his means. With credit cards and all that... it adds up to wanton and extravagant spending. My hunch that he overspent bith his credit card is correct.
