I am looking at moving to Singapore from Australia for 3 years at the end of this year and am aiming at sending my 8 year old daughter to a government school.

Can anyone let me know if they have had any good or bad experiences with sending an Australian to a government school. Are there any schools I should aim at sending her too.

I also have a couple of 4 year old which will be going to day care, any suggestions here would also be appreciated.

Thanks :?:

Hi,

Regarding sending ur 8 yr lod to gov school, no problem but she will have to start learning Chinese and admissions here booked much in advance.

U can check out on singapore expats site for International Schools. there is also Australian school in Singapore.

Regarding ur 4 year old there are lot of childcare centres but depends on the location in which ur staying

juhimatai,

I think you will find that the OP's child is now at least 12 years old.

This is not true unless her mother is Chinese. Please get your facts straight before posting misinformation.
