Cost of living

How much does an "average" person need per month to survive in Singapore? I'm a French student on internship for 6 months - I need a room in Jurong area, I need to spend on transport and food, a little bit on cinemas. Thanks for replying

In general, it takes most people about 10% more than their income to live.

Bonjour, si tu vis normalement compte a peu pres 30 a 40% de moins qu'en France. La vie est moins chere ici, surtout la nourriture - si tu acceptes de manger local!

I'd say around $1500 including rent and utilities and not eating out that much.

You could save 150 SGD on those calls if you use Skype ;-)
