Is it a matter of wave or particle? Or is it a kind of wind and rain. Isn't wind a wave and rain a kind of particle? Wind can be a kind of wave or temporal turbulence but usually isn't, it is a kind of phenonmenon or strange occurance. In the end, wind and waves of the sea are not related. That is because waves are on the top layer of the sea and wind is about true turbulence. Sound is classified as turbulent phenonmenon.===Light is not a particle because it is usually a continuous piece like a cloth that appears suddenly between light source and place of light. Therefore, more like rain than particle. That is, rain is more like a continuous piece of cloth when it comes down than individual particles.===How then do we see the rain drops; that is an optical illusion like the smoke that comes out of the exhaust when the engine is turned on with the electrons of the smoke flying around at great speeds making the illusion of clouds to the eye.

Look up a physics textbook. Light can be either a wave or particle depending on the actual interaction with it. Otherwise it's meaningless to say what it behaves like. Sound is a wave, more specifically compressions and rarefications of matter causing vibration.

Hi,
Thanks Guest. While technically a good answer, I think you may have missed the point (or maybe the lack of point) in the OP. Search around for some posts from GuguToo and you'll see what the OP was trying (and failing) to imitate.

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.
