The hurricane that brought misery to so many seems to have been predicted a few months back by National Geographic. Here is the link:

Wish Governments in most of the countries heed to such predictions from respected publications and took some measures via planning for disaster. Its is just not the USA or Indonesia that failed to take note of the warnings. Most of our Governments are busy with their politics rather than welfare of citizens. Ofcourse, our disrespect and exploitation of nature sure contributes to such disasters; but atleast disaster prevention can take priority when there are predictions from climatologists.

Anyway, the hurricane has already done enough damage and atleast now the concerned people should get wiser.
