Relief wrote:Hi ladies,
Do you have any natural relief for Menstrual cramps? I suffer from bad cramps and have to take painkillers at least for the 1st day of each mth. I've very low tolerance for pain. Sometimes the painkillers don't work well too. Wondering you have any experiences to share that will relieve the pain.
Highly effective natural product is evening primrose, I purchased it for my wife several years ago, and she is still taking them, it was recommended by my sister.

Primrose oil is effective?? i tried it last mth, but did not have any effect, but might be the fact tat i did not take it for long enough.
You mentioned tat you are working, so cant use the warm towels rit??
Have and alternative then..
I use a warm water bottle in class.. to relieve the pain and can the water can also be drink!! killing 2birds wif 1 stone...
axe oil helps too.. but sometimes i end up looking more like a drug addict sniffing axe oil..

Many reasons can result in delay in period.. stress, heavy workload, adjustment of new environment ...etc
Maybe even hormone imbalance.. however less likely. Coz when u have hormone imbalance.. then u will have bad cramps..
Maybe it is not critical.. u prob just feel 'no good'..

The chinese Bai Feng Wan is quite good to regulate the periods. There are some chinese medicinal herbs which can be taken for period pains. However, if you have a more serious underlying condition, like endometriosis a doc would be able to advise your on your options better. (other than use of painkillers for symptomatic management)

Hello
I used to have terrible cramps, so bad that I passed out once in a bus! And I throw up and also have loose bowels just as my period comes, very problematic. I have found a few ways to ease the pain...
+ Panadol Extra - my lifesaver, just one tablet a the pain comes.
+ Hot drinks and no caffeine
+ exercise, no need to be very regular, just a bit of exercise and I felt the difference
+ my mother recommends eating liver
E-mail me if you need more details. Good luck!
